Our Property Management Department will be glad to serve you in searching for a rental home or apartment. The following information will answer some of the general questions you may have regarding Carter Realty's guidelines for the rental process.

Application Process: We prefer that you see and want to move to a unit before applying. The application fee is $50.00 per individual. An application form is in the forms tab of this section. You can click on that link, fill in the blanks, copy and bring into our office with the fee. Or you can go to the Rental Property Search where you can fill one out, pay the fee on line, and it will be sent to our office. It must be signed giving us permission run a credit check and criminal background check. We will call your previous landlord for a reference.

Security Deposits typically required will be the amount of the first month's rent. Upon approval, the deposit will hold the unit for two weeks before move-in.

The minimum amount of monthly income to qualify for a property generally is three times the rental amount.

Pet Policy: Some of our owners will allow pets. There is a non-refundable pet fee of $250.00. No puppies, or specific breeds such as protective guard dogs are allowed. Animals should be caged when the owner is away. Applications must specify the type of pet you have and preferably under 35 pounds. Please ask our property manager if you have any questions.
